PUBG x Jujutsu Kaisen crossover event (dubbed the “Erangel Incident”) brings the world of the hit anime into PUBG: Battlegrounds through Update 43.1.
Running from September 10 through mid-October 2026, the event shifts gameplay on Erangel with interactive features and anime-inspired content.
🏝️ Spawn Island Interaction
Before a match starts, players are given 20 Mysterious Orbs. Throwing these orbs at a designated Jujutsu Kaisen Box on the starting island triggers a Domain Expansion: Infinite Void visual effect and summons a statue of Satoru Gojo for 15 seconds.
🏠 Map Modifications on Erangel
• Jujutsu Kaisen Warehouses: Themed secret warehouse buildings have been added across Erangel. Key confirmed locations include areas south-east of Severny, between Mansion and Prison, and next to Pochinki.
• Vending Machines: Hidden inside these Erangel hangars and warehouses are functional vending machines that dispense healing and energy boost items mid-match.
• Visual Overhauls: Themed billboards, care packages, and custom airplane skins decorate the map during the event.
🎒 Battle Pass & Cosmetics
The crossover features a Crafter Pass packed with weekly missions and character cosplay sets. Notable character drops and upgradeable progressive weapons include:
• Ryomen Sukuna skin for the Beryl M762
• Satoru Gojo skin for the M24
• Megumi Fushiguro skin for the VSS
• Suguru Geto upgradeable Pan skin
