The wait is almost over! After nearly nine years, The Saga of Tanya the Evil Season 2 is finally set to premiere on July 8, 2026, bringing back one of anime’s most acclaimed military fantasy series.

A brand-new main trailer has been released, offering a closer look at the Empire’s future while highlighting key characters Zettour and Rudersdorf. The trailer also introduces the new character Calandro, who will be voiced by Eiji Hanawa, adding even more excitement ahead of the long-awaited sequel.

Fans also have another reason to celebrate. On July 1, The Saga of Tanya the Evil: The Movie and the special episode “The Desert Pasta Operation” will receive their first-ever terrestrial TV broadcast in Japan on TOKYO MX and BS11, making it the perfect opportunity to revisit the story before Season 2 begins.

In addition, a special Season 2 launch program will air on AT-X on July 11, followed by a YouTube streaming release on July 12, featuring more information about the new season.
