Amy Janiszewski is a business professional from Texas with expertise in sales and business development. She has had experience in the steel, industrial, automotive, and real estate industries throughout her career. Most recently, Amy has begun her own business in real estate and continues to work on this entrepreneurial venture.
Amy began her career working in sales after graduating with a bachelor of science degree in business administration and a concentration in marketing. After graduating, Amy was recruited to work at the National Steel Corporation where she was part of a comprehensive management training program. She learned the functions of various departments as well as production, sourcing, and sales. Later, Amy began working at Enterprise Rent-a-Car where she worked in a sales role securing new business opportunities. Amy continued to gain knowledge and skills in sales as she transitioned through high-volume airport locations to assist teams to achieve sales goals.
After spending some time working in the automotive rental industry, Amy Janiszewski went on to work at GE Supply as an Inside Sales Representative. She worked in this high-volume sales center environment where she sourced components on a global scale, placed and coordinated orders, negotiated pricing, and ensured customer satisfaction. Amy had worked with numerous internal and external teams including the sister companies of GE Supply.
In 2003, Amy began working as the Sales Specialist & Equity Owner at Painted Metal Products. This role gave Amy Janiszewski a better understanding of entrepreneurship and what it takes to build and grow a business. She was brought on early in the development of the business and worked to create the business infrastructure which included policies, procedures, accounting and sale systems, and processes. She saw the growth of the business from a zero base to $110 million in gross revenue.
With the knowledge and skills gained from all of her roles, and especially with Painted Metal Products, Amy Janiszewski decided to start a business of her own. Amy now runs a vacation rental property business called Sunrise Properties by AJ and Sunrise Properties by AJ II. She owns properties in Tomahawk, Wisconsin, Galveston Island, Texas and internationally in Costa Rica. She hopes to continue to manage these properties and continue to grow her real estate business.
