BMW Z4 BATTERY DEAD. CAN ALTERNATOR CAUSE BATTERY DRAIN
If you have BMW Z4 and have battery drain that causes dead battery when you do not drive your car for a few days we will explain how alternator that seems to work good when the car is running can cause battery drain when your turn the car off and park it. If the alternator diodes are bad or just single alternator diode is bad your alternator will cause battery drain and kill your battery when you do not drive the car. We will demonstrate how to test alternator diodes on N52 engine that has been used in BMW Z4 E85 and E89 generation. This video may be helpful even on 4 cylinder BMW Z4 Engine since the the alternator functions the same way.
