The Mercedes C-class w205 is living out its life and already at the beginning of 2021, you can expect the premiere of a new generation C-class in the back of w206. The car is built on the rear-wheel-drive platform MRA2 and externally, already by tradition, is a smaller copy of the new S-class w213. The new underpinnings will allow Mercedes to keep the car its current size while increasing passenger space. The new platform will also enable Mercedes to fit the necessary hybrid and plug-in hybrid components without eating up too much space inside. As always, a wide selection of engines, rear-wheel drive, and four-wheel drive transmissions, as well as electrified models will be offered.
