Forza 7 Drag race: Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG vs SL65 AMG Black Series

Hello everyone and welcome back to the series of Forza drag races. In today's video we have an interesting drag race, featuring two Mercedes-Benz AMG beasts, one is the SLS AMG, and one is the SL65 AMG Black Series , a V12 monster. Lets have a look at their specifications.

First, lets start with the 2011 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG. Which is a front-engined RWD sports car, it is the successor to the Mercedes-Benz SLR, and its name "SLS" stands for "Sport Light Super". It uses a 6.2L Naturally Aspirated V8, producing 571 bhp and 479 lb.ft of torque, weighing at 1620 kg and it uses a 7-Speed dual-clutch automatic that sends the power to its rear wheels.

Now lets move onto the 2009 Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG Black series. Limited to 350 units, the SL 65 AMG Black Series was introduced in 2009 as a high-performance special of the fifth generation SL-Class. Typical for Black Series models, which represent the fastest models of a particular AMG lineup, and its styling is inspired by DTM race cars, and also it uses a 6.0L Twin-Turbocharged AMG V12 (a variation of this engine is later used in the Pagani Huayra), that produces a staggering 661 bhp and 738 lb.ft of torque. Weighing at 1912 kg, and it uses a 5-Speed automatic transmission that sends the power to its rear-wheels.
