A demonstration of the redline buzzer.
A number of cars allow you to rev past the redline until a fuel cut where the tachometer stops, however in some cases they have a buzzer which emits a noise to alert the driver that the engine is nearing it's maximum rpm.
The Mazda rx7 of all generations (to my knowledge have these buzzers) which will buzz upon reaching 1-300 rpms above redline
