The All-New Mazda CX-8 is based on the CX-9 platform, so it is a large SUV. It is now locally assembled in Malaysia, and the price, as yet unannounced, is likely to be much more affordable. We did a quick test drive straight from the assembly plant on the 2.2 litre turbocharged diesel variant that is the only variant with AWD. With 188 horsepower and a massive 450 Nm of torque, it is a pleasure to drive.
