Lancia Unveils Its Vision for the Next Decade of Electric Mobility with the Pu+Ra HPE.

Lancia, the renowned Italian automaker, has presented its vision for the next 10 years of electric mobility with the new Lancia Pu+Ra HPE. The brand's latest car model, the Lancia Pu+Ra HPE, is the first car to be inspired by the world of furniture and will form the inspiration for future models, starting with the new Ypsilon. The car is 100% electric and offers a range of over 700 km, a charging time of just over 10 minutes, and energy consumption of less than 10 kWh per 100 km.

Lancia collaborated with Cassina, the leader in the upscale furniture industry, to create a typically Italian “home feeling” experience. The Lancia Pu+Ra HPE also features the S.A.L.A. virtual interface, which will be available on the new Ypsilon. The interface allows Lancia to adopt Chameleon and TAPE (Tailored Predictive Experience) technologies, which centralize the audio, climate control and lighting functions, enabling the environment inside the car to be adapted at the touch of a button or by the sound of your voice.

The new Lancia concept car fully embodies the principles of the brand's new design language, a pure and radical design language where the cars’ volumes are created from the intersection of elementary and iconic forms such as the circle and the triangle, combined with a few eclectic details. The car is named Lancia Pu+Ra HPE, with "Pu+Ra" referring to the brand's new, pure and radical design language, while HPE stands for High Performance Electric.

The color of the Lancia Pu+Ra HPE is called Progressive Green, a tribute to the historic and timeless Lancia Flaminia Azzurro Vincennes. The rear of the car includes the iconic round lights, inspired by the brand’s bluntest and most radical spirit. The front reinterprets the historic Lancia grille, now taken forward into the future by three rays of light that make it iconic, memorable, and visible from afar. The car's circular roof provides a broad, panoramic view, with a clear reference to architectural elements, characteristic of the new Lancia design language.

Lancia has committed to launch the new Ypsilon in 2024, with both hybrid and electric versions, and from 2026, only 100% electric cars will be launched. The brand will exclusively sell electric models concurrently with the arrival of the new Delta in 2028. The Lancia Pu+Ra HPE is the practical, nimble model with a streamlined, efficient, and aerodynamic body that forms the 100% electric manifesto.

Lancia has always been known for producing models that have rewritten the history of three major automotive classes: city cars, flagships, and compact sedans. The brand aims to continue this trend in the future, offering the best of all three segments with new Lancia models that benefit from the winning specialties of Stellantis platforms. Compact, agile, and fun to drive, the new Lancia models will address a European customer base.
