Get Ready for the EVIT Expo on January 29th!

EVIT is getting ready to celebrate CTE Month in February. Their annual EVIT Expo will kick things off on Saturday, January 29th from 9 am to 1 pm. at the Main Campus. It’s a great opportunity for students, parents and the public to explore career and technical education programs that EVIT offers for high school students and adults in the East Valley. The East Valley Institute of Technology is Arizona’s first and oldest Career Technical Education District (CTED), providing advanced career training to high school students and adults at two central campuses in Mesa and a branch campus at Apache Junction High School. Over 40 high school programs – ranging from Aviation and Automotive to Criminal Justice and Culinary Arts, Health Care and much more – are tuition-free for East Valley high school students. Adult programs, including a dozen post-secondary programs, are tuition-based with financial aid available in some programs for those who qualify. EVIT has been recognized by TIME Magazine as “the school that works,” featured in the national CTE magazine Techniques, and has been voted many times by readers of the East Valley Tribune as Best Public School.
