I remember there was a discussion about Jujutsu Kaisen when this tweet was made a long time ago, it honestly surprised me that it was said that westerners only care about fights, when a lot of the meaning in these fights are pretty obvious to me, and I think a lot of other people. Yuji, Higuruma, even Nanami show a lot of different characteristics and themes that are being played with, and the way Mappa is expressing them in the animation and the execution of the anime is almost flawless. Needed a reason to talk about it so I took it
